Please review the following terms carefully before confirming your booking with Fare 1.
Important Policy Highlights
Cancellation: Full refund available only if cancelled 24 hours prior to pickup. No refunds for cancellations within 24 hours.
Airport Waiting: 1 hour free waiting time from landing. Thereafter, £8.00 charge per 15 minutes applies.
1. Introduction & Definitions
These terms constitute the agreement between "Fare 1 Limited" (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") and the customer (referred to as "you" or "passenger"). By making a booking via our website, phone, or email, you agree to be bound by these terms.
"Booking": A confirmed reservation for a transfer service.
"Pickup Time": The scheduled time and date for the vehicle to arrive at your location.
2. Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed only when we issue a valid booking reference number. You are responsible for providing accurate details, including flight numbers, passenger count, and luggage requirements. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
3. Pricing & Payments
Fares are quoted based on the vehicle class, distance, and time of day. All prices are in GBP (£). Unless otherwise agreed, payment must be completed at the time of booking to secure the vehicle.
Additional charges may apply for route diversions, extra stops, or vehicle upgrades requested by the passenger during the journey.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Our cancellation policy is strictly enforced to compensate drivers for their allocated time. Please review the timelines below:
4.1 Cancellation by You
- Advance Cancellation (24+ Hours): If you cancel your booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time, you are eligible for a full refund. No cancellation fee will be charged.
- Late Cancellation (Within 24 Hours): If cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the pickup time, no money back will be issued. The full fare is retained to cover driver allocation costs.
- No-Show: If the passenger fails to appear at the pickup location and cannot be contacted, the job will be marked as a "No-Show" and no refund will be provided.
4.2 Processing Refunds
Valid refunds will be processed to the original method of payment within 5–7 working days.
5. Airport Pickups & Waiting Time
We monitor flight arrivals to ensure punctuality. Our waiting time policy specifically for airport collections is as follows:
5.1 Free Waiting Period
We provide a complimentary 1 hour (60 minutes) waiting period starting from the actual flight landing time. This allows passengers sufficient time for immigration and baggage claim.
5.2 Excess Waiting Charges
If the passenger has not met the driver within the free 1-hour period, additional waiting time will be charged. The rate is £8.00 for every 15 minutes (or part thereof) thereafter.
6. Passenger Responsibilities
Luggage: Passengers must ensure their luggage fits within the capacity of the booked vehicle. We are not responsible for carrying excessive luggage that was not declared.
Conduct: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy towards abusive behavior. Drivers have the right to terminate a journey if a passenger is intoxicated, threatening, or endangers safety.
7. Liability & Delays
We strive to arrive on time, but we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, road closures, or traffic accidents. Passengers should allow adequate travel time for important connections (e.g., flights). Our liability is limited to the cost of the booking.
8. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The terms applicable to your booking are those in effect at the date and time of your reservation.
