As of January 2026, Newcastle introduced a free waiting zone with up to 90 minutes' standing — further from the terminal but useful for substantially delayed arrivals where driver wait time matters.

Birmingham Airport is the busiest UK regional airport outside London — second-city hub for European short-haul and a handful of long-haul carriers. Birmingham charges £7 for 15 minutes at the Premium Set Down bay outside the terminal; the free Drop Off Car Park still exists but sits a 5-10 minute walk away, which is not what you booked a car for. Pickup uses short-stay (£9.50 for 60 min); we factor it in only when collecting an arrival.

Bournemouth Airport is the closest airport to our Southampton hub — a 28-mile run. The short run makes this our cheapest airport transfer. Same dropoff zone serves both pickup and dropoff (£8 for 30 min since the 1 June 2026 restructure), giving drivers flex on meet timing. Strong Bournemouth bookings during summer holiday months for charter departures.

Bristol Airport serves the south-west and Wales — Lulsgate Bottom site, ~8 miles from central Bristol. Fixed-fare route from Southampton at £160. Drop & Go is £8.50 for 10 min, and short stay £8.50 for 15 min or £10.50 for 15-30; all baked into the quote. Free waiting zone option exists 7-9 minutes from the terminal if your inbound flight is late.
