The docks
All five cruise terminals.
Southampton is the UK's cruise port, and the terminals are not interchangeable — Ocean and QEII sit behind Dock Gate 4 on the eastern docks, Mayflower behind Dock Gate 10 to the west, and arriving at the wrong gate on a two-ship Saturday costs half an hour. We confirm the terminal from your booking reference rather than assuming, and time the pickup against the check-in window printed on your boarding pass.

- Private hire — every journey is pre-booked, so we cannot be flagged down in the street or picked up from a rank. In practice that means the price is agreed before the car moves rather than counted on a meter. Bookings go through the website, the app, or the office phone.
- You are quoted the full price before you book, from our Southampton to Heathrow route page, and it does not move afterwards. Gatwick, Bournemouth Airport and London St Pancras work the same way, in either direction, and larger vehicles are quoted on our published per-mile rate for the same journey.
- All five — Ocean, Mayflower, City, Horizon and QEII. Sail-day pickups are timed against the cruise line's published check-in window rather than the sailing time, which is the part most people get wrong, and the chauffeur takes the cases from the boot to the porter at the terminal door.
- For an airport or cruise run, as soon as you have the flight or sailing. For a local journey, same-day is usually fine but we are a pre-booked fleet, not a rank — there is no guarantee of a car in ten minutes at 03:00 on a Saturday, and we would rather tell you that than take the booking.
- The journey end to end. Airport drop-off charges, congestion and ULEZ where they apply are quoted as their own lines on the booking form so you can see what is a fee and what is fare. Nothing is added after the journey — no meter, no day-of re-quote, and the fare is locked when you book even if our rate sheet changes before your pickup.
