Airport and cruise transfers in Eastleigh.
Southampton Airport is in Eastleigh, not Southampton — two miles from the town centre. That one fact changes how most Eastleigh journeys are priced, and it is worth knowing before you book.
From Eastleigh
The journeys we make from here.
Distances and times below are measured on the same routing engine that prices your booking, in typical traffic. They are what we plan to, not a promise about the road on the day — and because the price is agreed before you travel, a slow run costs you nothing extra.

Local detail
What actually decides a Eastleigh journey.
Because the airport is on the doorstep, an Eastleigh to Southampton Airport run is a short hop where the airport's own pickup charge and our minimum fare, not the mileage, decide the price. Two miles is two miles; the number on the quote will look high for the distance and low for the service, and both are true. If you are flying from Southampton, the honest advice is that this is a convenience purchase, not a value one.
Heathrow is the other direction — 62 miles up the M3 from junction 5 or 12, a little over an hour with a clear M25. Eastleigh sits inside our Southampton SO14–SO53 zone, so the Southampton fixed fares apply to journeys from here: open the route page for the airport you want and the pre-set price travels with the booking link.
Gatwick from Eastleigh is 82 miles and genuinely awkward — the M27 and A27 east, or the M3 and M25 round, and neither is quick. It is the journey where a pre-agreed price earns its keep, because the traffic risk sits with us.
Where we pick up
SO50, SO53 and the villages around them.
- Eastleigh town centre and the Swan Centre
- Eastleigh railway station and the works
- Southampton Airport and Airport Parkway station
- Chandler's Ford, Valley Park and Hiltingbury
- Fair Oak, Bishopstoke and Horton Heath
Pickups outside these areas are quoted the same way — the per-mile rate for your vehicle multiplied by the route, shown before you book.
The docks
All five Southampton cruise terminals.
The terminals are not interchangeable. Ocean and QEII sit behind Dock Gate 4 on the eastern docks, Mayflower and City behind Dock Gate 10 to the west, and arriving at the wrong gate on a two-ship Saturday costs half an hour. We confirm the terminal from your booking reference rather than the ship’s name, and time the pickup against the check-in window printed on your boarding pass.
Frequently asked
Quick answers.
- Two things stack on a very short airport job: the airport's own charge for entering the pickup area, which we pass through at cost and show as its own line, and our minimum fare, which is what makes a pre-booked car with a named driver viable at all on a journey this short. On an Eastleigh-to-terminal hop those two are most of the price, not the mileage.
- Eastleigh is inside the Southampton SO14–SO53 pickup zone, so the pre-set Southampton route prices are available on journeys from here. Open the route page for the airport you want and book from there — the fixed price travels with that link. Typing the addresses into the booking form by hand quotes the journey on the per-mile rate instead.
- For an airport or cruise run, as soon as you have the flight number or the sailing. For a local journey same-day is usually fine, but we are a pre-booked fleet rather than a rank — there is no guarantee of a car in ten minutes at three in the morning, and we would rather say so than take the booking and disappoint you.
- We track the inbound flight from wherever it took off, so the pickup time moves with the aircraft rather than with the schedule you booked against. The first 60 minutes of waiting after landing is included — enough for a full-flight baggage reclaim — and you are not charged for a delay that is not yours.
- Yes. Airport drop-off charges, congestion and ULEZ where they apply are shown as their own lines on the booking form so you can see what is a fee and what is fare. Nothing is added after the journey: no meter, no day-of re-quote, and the fare is locked when you book even if our rate sheet changes before your pickup.
