The first mile is charged flat at £10, or £19.25 in a people carrier or minibus. Airport transfers are quoted on our airport rate card, which is lower than the rates above for people carriers, minibuses and the executive classes — the quote you are shown before booking is always the one you pay.
* The minimum applies to journeys up to 6 miles and to airport runs at any distance. Longer journeys are priced on the per-mile rate, and short local trips on the council meter tariff can come in below the minimum. Your own price is quoted before you book.
Hourly chauffeur
Book by the hour from 3hr minimum. Includes 15 miles per hour. Beyond included miles, extra distance bills at 50% of the per-mile rate.

- Yes. The quote is the total for the journey — no booking fee, no card fee, no fuel or airport extras added afterwards. The only things that can change it are changes you ask for on the day: extra waiting time, an added stop, or a new destination.
- The 5% volume discount triggers automatically the moment your fare reaches £250 on the quote screen — no code, no opt-in. The return discount is separate: 5% off any return booking, whatever the total, and it stacks on top of the volume one. A £280 return trip pays £280 × 0.95 × 0.95 = £252.70; a £90 return still gets its 5%.
- Hourly is for when you need the chauffeur and car on standby — meetings, events, multi-stop runs. You pre-book a block (3hr minimum), 15 miles per hour included. Beyond included mileage, extra distance bills at 50% of the per-mile rate. Use per-mile for point-to-point transfers; use hourly when you need flexibility.
- From time to time we publish a single price on popular routes — the Southampton airport corridor, Winchester to Heathrow, St Pancras to the cruise terminals — that overrides the per-mile maths for as long as the promotion runs. Whether one is running or not, you are quoted your price before you book and it does not move afterwards.
- Yes. The booking form accepts up to 7 stops on point-to-point trips, return-leg pricing on any route, and 3-12 hour hourly blocks. Quote updates live as you adjust. Stops are simply included in the quoted route distance — no separate stop surcharge; return adds a leg at the same per-mile rate and takes 5% off, at any total.
- Card is authorised at booking (Stripe manual capture — you're not charged yet). On the day of pickup, your driver confirms the trip and Stripe captures the booked amount. Cancellation 24hr+ before pickup releases the authorisation fully, 0% cost.
