Common UK FBO airports
Farnborough Airport (TAG Farnborough). The UK's main private-jet airport. Handles VIP and corporate transit, customs onsite.
Biggin Hill Airport (London Biggin Hill). Second major private airport, south-east London.
London Oxford Airport. Smaller FBO, cleaner traffic, growing private aviation.
Luton (FBO side). Private terminal separate from the public airport.
Chauffeur pickup conventions
For private-jet arrivals:
- Driver enters the FBO airside-access car park (pre-cleared)
- Meets passenger at FBO building exit — typically directly at the aircraft or in the FBO lounge
- Luggage handled by FBO staff or aircraft crew
- Customs / passport handled inside FBO (15-20 minutes typical, vs. 30-60 in commercial)
