Waiting time rules differ by trip type. Here's the structure.

Per-mile transfer mode

Airport pickup: 60 minutes free waiting starting from your flight's actual landing time. We track inbound flights and adjust pickup-time to actual landing, so the clock doesn't start on a delayed flight.

Standard pickup (hotel, station, residential): 15 minutes free waiting from booked pickup time.

Beyond included: £20/hr pro-rated.

Hourly chauffeur mode

All waiting is included within booked hours. The 3-hour minimum × £45 = £135 buys you the driver for 3 hours regardless of waiting vs driving split.

Cruise terminal pickup

60 minutes free from actual gangway-off time (similar to airport landing).

Common waiting scenarios

  • Flight delayed 2 hours: No charge. The flight tracker auto-adjusts pickup time.
  • You're 30 min late to a non-airport pickup: 15 free + 15 billable = £5 wait charge.
  • Customs queue runs long at Heathrow: Bills against 60-min window. Beyond, charged.
  • Hourly chauffeur with 3 hours of stop-waiting: Included.
