Multi-car wedding fleet bookings

When one vehicle isn't enough — co-ordinating 3, 5, or 10 chauffeur vehicles for the wedding day across bridal party, guests, and end-of-night transfers.

Bigger weddings often need more than one vehicle. Three vehicles is a common shape; five or more isn't unusual for full-fleet weddings. This article walks through how to plan it.

Why multi-vehicle helps

A single minibus can carry 16 people, but it can't:

  • Carry the bride solo in a photographic Executive saloon AND carry the bridal party
  • Be at the church AND at the prep hotel AND at the reception at the same time
  • Photograph well as the bridal car AND function as a guest shuttle

So most non-trivial weddings split:

  • Bridal car — Executive saloon for the photo emphasis on bride arrival
  • Bridal-party MPV / minibus — for bridesmaids and groomsmen
  • Guest shuttle vehicles — for VIP guests, elderly relatives, or all-guest transport on rural-venue weddings

Typical 3-vehicle configuration

For a Hampshire country-house wedding with 80 guests:

Vehicle 1: Executive saloon (Mercedes E-Class) — Bridal car

  • Carries bride and father
  • Ceremony venue arrival → photo stop → reception
  • 4 hours total

Vehicle 2: Executive MPV (Mercedes V-Class) — Bridal party + groom

  • Groom and groomsmen to ceremony
  • Bridal party (post-ceremony) to reception via photo-stop
  • 6 hours total

Vehicle 3: Executive minibus — Family + close guests

  • Bride's family and groom's family to ceremony
  • Reception transfer at end of ceremony
  • 5 hours total

Plus standby end-of-night driver for newlyweds → hotel.

When 5+ vehicles is justified

Larger weddings (150+ guests) at rural venues where guests don't have own transport often need a multi-vehicle shuttle:

  • 2× minibus loops between hotel cluster and venue (start of day)
  • Bridal vehicle pair (saloon + MPV)
  • End-of-night shuttle (one or two minibuses on a loop)

Total: 5-7 chauffeur vehicles across the day, peak utilisation 3-4 vehicles simultaneously.

For weddings of this scale, we recommend a phone call before booking — we can co-ordinate vehicle assignments by leg and pre-confirm driver availability for the date.

Pricing structure

Two ways to price a multi-vehicle wedding day:

Per vehicle hourly. Each vehicle on its own 3+ hour minimum hire. Best when vehicles have asymmetric schedules (bridal saloon 4hr, minibus 5hr, shuttle 7hr).

Whole-day quote. Negotiated flat price covering all vehicles for the day. Best when scheduling is well-defined and the wedding planner wants a single line on the budget.

For typical 3-vehicle Hampshire weddings, per-vehicle hourly works out around £700-1,100 total before volume discount. The 15% volume discount applies on the booking total over £250 — so multi-vehicle weddings almost always hit the discount.

What we ask at booking

For multi-vehicle weddings:

  • Wedding date and ceremony start time
  • All vehicle "stops" — preparation hotels, ceremony venue, reception venue, photo stops
  • Estimated passenger count per vehicle leg
  • Vehicle category preferences for each (Executive saloon for bridal, MPV vs minibus for parties)
  • End-of-night logistics

We'll come back with a timeline showing which vehicle is where at each part of the day.

Vehicle-decoration consistency

If you want ribbons or florals on multiple vehicles, all matching:

  • Coordinate with your florist directly
  • We provide the vehicle wash and clean presentation
  • Floral installation on the morning of the wedding (your florist visits the vehicle staging area)

Driver matching

For weddings, we send the same driver across the day where possible. If schedule splits require two drivers per vehicle (long days exceed driver shift limits), we co-ordinate handover points and brief the second driver on the day's flow.

The cleanest pattern: morning driver covers bridal + ceremony, afternoon driver covers reception + end-of-night. We use this for weddings that exceed the standard 8-hour shift.

Driver attire

Standard chauffeur uniform: dark suit, white shirt, tie or pocket-square. For weddings we can match a colour-theme tie if requested — give us the colour at booking, and we'll co-ordinate.

Coordination with wedding planners

If you have a wedding planner (typical for 100+ guest weddings), we work directly with them on the day. Pre-booking phone call typically:

  • Wedding planner shares the timeline document
  • We confirm vehicle assignments and driver names
  • On the day, planner has driver phone numbers for direct comms

Booking

For multi-vehicle wedding quotes, email us with the wedding date, venues, and rough vehicle count. We'll respond with a quote and timing structure.

For simpler single-vehicle weddings, book online directly.
