Multi-stop bookings — how to add stops

Adding intermediate stops to a chauffeur booking. Pricing impact, route-builder use, when to switch to hourly.

Multi-stop bookings are straightforward on the Fare 1 booking form — add stops in the trip card.

Limits

Up to 7 intermediate stops per journey. Each stop has full address + postcode for routing.

Pricing impact

Per-mile mode: stops are simply included in the quoted route distance. The system maps the full pickup-to-stop-to-drop-off path and you pay the per-mile rate on the total — there is no separate per-stop fee. Waiting at a stop beyond the free window bills at £20/hr, pro-rated.

Hourly mode: stops are part of the included-miles allowance.

When to switch to hourly

If you have:

  • 3+ intermediate stops where the driver waits
  • Loose schedule (don't know exact stop duration)
  • Same-day return after multiple errands

Hourly chauffeur can work out cheaper than per-mile distance + waiting fees.

Example

Bank + post office + 2 supermarket stops + home (4 stops, 25 miles total, 90 min waiting):

  • Per-mile: (25 mi × £1.67) £42 + 1.5 hr × £20 waiting = £72 (standard saloon)
  • Hourly: 3 hours minimum × £45 = £135

Per-mile wins on this trip. It's much longer waiting time — not the number of stops — that tips the math toward hourly.
